Comparison review
The Xperia XZ1 has a general score of 78.3, which is a little bit better than the ZTE Axon 20's global score of 77.8. The Xperia XZ1 is an a lot older phone than the ZTE Axon 20, but Sony made it a little thinner and notably lighter anyway. ZTE Axon 20 counts with a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 features a little sharper display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a really smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater pixel quantity in each inch in the display. Sony Xperia XZ1 has a very superior storage to install applications and games than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
ZTE Axon 20 counts with a much better camera than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a lot larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution back camera, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in low light environments.
The ZTE Axon 20 features a superior battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the ZTE Axon 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as ZTE Axon 20. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save some money and get the ZTE Axon 20, giving up some specs and features.
