Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, with an 84.2 score against 79. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro design is much newer and thinner than Xperia XZ2 Compact's, although it is also way heavier. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the older 14 version while Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a lot better processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a slightly better display than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a much brighter display, a lot larger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 92 percent bigger battery size.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a back facing camera with a much better resolution, a larger aperture to capture better photography in low light situations, a lot better 7680x4320 video quality and a way bigger camera sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality.
