Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a score of 79, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR's 77.4 general score. The Xperia XZ2 Compact construction is just a little lighter but notably thicker than Asus ZenFone AR, and they were released with only a couple months difference. The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit more vivid display than Asus ZenFone AR, although it has a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch of display, a bit smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
The Asus ZenFone AR features a very superior storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit faster CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
The Asus ZenFone AR features just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 3300mAh battery size instead of 2870mAh. The Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a lower (4K) video definition and a lesser MP resolution back-facing camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a bigger back camera sensor taking higher quality photographs.
