Comparison review

Motorola Moto Z4 is slightly better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, getting a 79.8 score against 79. Motorola Moto Z4 is a newer cellphone, and it is also much thinner and just a bit lighter than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Moto Z4 has an older 10 version while Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto Z4. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a more vivid screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160px resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels density.

The Moto Z4 has just a bit better camera than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Moto Z4 also counts with a camera with a way higher resolution, a bigger aperture for better photography in low light situations and a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photos.

The Motorola Moto Z4 features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. The Moto Z4 has improved battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.
