Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 overall score. Although the Xperia XZ2 Compact is much older and a lot thicker than OnePlus 8, it's body is still a bit lighter. Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit sharper screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has much lower brightness, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater screen pixels density.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a greater memory to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 400 GB. The OnePlus 8 counts with a little bit better processing power than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 shoots better photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has a much more mega-pixels camera, a larger camera sensor capturing better quality photographs and a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and video in poorly lited situations.
