Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 2, getting a overall score of 82.2 against 81.6. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer device than the Google Pixel 2, although it's a lot heavier and incredibly thicker. Xperia XZ2 Premium features an incredibly better looking display than Google Pixel 2, because it has a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a larger screen and a much higher pixels count per inch in the display.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little faster processing unit than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features more memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 2, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 aperture and the same video quality, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a back facing camera with lot more MP and a larger sensor capturing better quality videos and photos.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features superior battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 2, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
