Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a bit better than the Google Pixel XL's global score of 81.3. Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is newer than the Google Pixel XL's, but it is a lot thicker and heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much more vibrant screen than Google Pixel XL, because it has a little larger display, a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a higher pixels count in each inch of display.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better processor than Google Pixel XL, because it has more CPU cores and more RAM memory. The Xperia XZ2 Premium captures a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same sensor size, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a way higher 19 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has more memory to install games and applications than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit longer battery life than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity against 3450mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs more than the Google Pixel XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel XL. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel XL, letting go a couple specifications.
