The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Huawei P20, having an 82.2 score against 78.1. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably thicker and notably heavier device than Huawei P20. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than Huawei P20, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a lot higher pixel density and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bigger storage to install games and applications than Huawei P20, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same camera sensor size, the same camera aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a much more MP back facing camera.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has a 4 percent greater battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Huawei P20, giving up some specs and features.
