Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 50's global score of 81.2. Although it's the best phone in this review, it must be noted that it's also much older, heavier and extremely thicker. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more vivid display than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a little smaller display and way darker screen, it also counts with a lot better display pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
The Motorola Edge 50 has more memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 50, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Motorola Edge 50 features a very superior battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 41 percent bigger battery capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a superior camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video resolution and the same diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a lot better resolution back-facing camera and a way larger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs.
