Comparison review

The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z4's overall score of 79.8. Although it's the best in this review, we must note that it's also an older, incredibly heavier and thicker cellphone. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much more vibrant display than Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixels quantity per inch of screen and a much higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.

The Moto Z4 counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better processor than Moto Z4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Motorola Moto Z4 features a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 2% bigger battery capacity. The Motorola Moto Z4 has a better camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a larger aperture to capture better low-light captures, a way more mega-pixels back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto Z4, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
