The Samsung Galaxy A80 has an overall score of 84.9, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's score of 82.2. The Samsung Galaxy A80 design is newer, noticeably thinner and just a little bit lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A80, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater screen pixel density and a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840px. The Samsung Galaxy A80 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also counts with a way more mega pixels camera in the back and a bigger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a greater storage for apps and games than Galaxy A80, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB. Galaxy A80 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5% more battery size.
