Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 overall score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is way newer than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s, although it is way thicker and way heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a sharper screen than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a better number of pixels per screen inch, a little bigger display and a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher number of cores (and faster) and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger camera aperture for better low light captures, a more megapixels camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photographs.
