Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1, having an 82.2 score against 78.3. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium construction is newer, but incredibly heavier and much thicker than Xperia XZ1. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better processing unit than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking screen than Xperia XZ1, because it has a little larger screen, a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of display. Sony Xperia XZ1 features a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xperia XZ1's camera is very similar to Xperia XZ2 Premium's camera, and although the Xperia XZ1 has a smaller aperture, they both have a same size camera sensor, the same video frame rate, a same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Xperia XZ2 Premium has better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3540mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia XZ1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia XZ1. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xperia XZ1, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
