Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, with an 82.2 score against 76.4. Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's, although it's incredibly thicker and a lot heavier. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 2 GB more RAM and 4 more cpu cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a lot higher pixels quantity per screen inch, a brighter display, a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a quite bigger display. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bigger memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3540mAh battery size. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a 0.43 inches camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and video in low light environments and a much more mega-pixels camera.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, giving up some features and specs.
