The Google Pixel 3 XL has a score of 80.7, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2's 79.1 score. Although Google Pixel 3 XL and the Xperia XZ2 were only released with a couple of months difference, Google Pixel 3 XL is a lot thinner and just a little bit lighter. The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel 3 XL. Both have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ2 counts with a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 3 XL, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a quite smaller screen. Xperia XZ2 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 400 GB.
The Xperia XZ2 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality, better 60 fps video frame rates and a camera with much more megapixels.
The Google Pixel 3 XL features just a bit better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
