The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a score of 79.1, which is just a bit better than the HTC U11's overall score of 77.6. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ2 is newer than the HTC U11, it's heavier and thicker. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit better processing unit than HTC U11. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has a little more vivid display than HTC U11, because although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2160 resolution and a just a bit worse pixel number per inch of display, it also counts with a bit bigger display. Sony Xperia XZ2 captures slightly better photographs and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photography, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP, a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and better video frame rates.
The Xperia XZ2 counts with a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit superior battery duration than HTC U11, because it has a 6% larger battery size.
