Xperia XZ2 has an overall score of 79.1, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's score of 78.7. Xperia XZ2's design is newer, but a lot thicker and somewhat heavier than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Sony Xperia XZ2 features a bit better processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Xperia XZ2 features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bit larger display. Xperia XZ2 features more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos, better video frame rate, a back facing camera with much more megapixels and a much larger sensor.
