Huawei Mate X is much better than the Xperia XZ2, getting an 89.4 score against 79.1. Huawei Mate X's design is newer and a little thinner than the Xperia XZ2's, but it is noticeably heavier. The Huawei Mate X and Sony Xperia XZ2 count with extremely similar CPUs, and although the Huawei Mate X has 4 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch. The Sony Xperia XZ2 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, a back camera with way less mega pixels and a much smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors.
The Huawei Mate X features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate X features a much longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3180mAh.
