Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is slightly better than Xperia XZ2, getting an 81.4 score against 79.1. The Huawei P20 Pro design is a little lighter and noticeably thinner than the Xperia XZ2, even when both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. The Xperia XZ2 features a slightly better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160px resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 has just a little better performance than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro captures slightly better photos and videos than Xperia XZ2, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a much bigger camera sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality, a much better resolution camera in the back and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images in low light situations.
