The Xperia XZ2 is just a bit better than the Huawei P30 Lite, with a 79.1 score against 77. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, Xperia XZ2 is an older, heavier and a lot thicker phone than Huawei P30 Lite. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.
Xperia XZ2 has a bit superior CPU than Huawei P30 Lite. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. Xperia XZ2 shoots much better photographs and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a way less MP resolution camera in the back, a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video and a smaller sensor providing a lower image quality, it also counts with a way higher video quality.
Huawei P30 Lite features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P30 Lite has just a little better battery duration than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 5% bigger battery size.
