The LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than Xperia XZ2, with an 84.3 score against 79.1. The LG G8 ThinQ is a newer device, and it is also extremely thinner and lighter than Xperia XZ2. LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM memory.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little more vivid display than Xperia XZ2, because although it has less brightness, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120px resolution, a bit larger display and more pixels per inch in the display. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Xperia XZ2, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The LG G8 ThinQ has just a bit longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 3180mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ2 takes clearer pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a larger back camera sensor taking better quality videos and pictures and a lot higher 19 mega-pixels resolution camera.
