Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has an overall score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2's 79.1 global score. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus design is newer and incredibly thinner, but just a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ2. Xperia XZ2 has a bit more vivid screen than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a little bit better quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.

The Moto G 5G Plus counts with a greater storage to install games and applications than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 has a little better performance than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus. Both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.

Motorola Moto G 5G Plus takes slightly better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ2, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography, a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and photos and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.

Moto G 5G Plus features a way better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
