Comparison review

The Xperia XZ2 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, getting a score of 79.1 against 77.5. Although it's the best in our current comparison, it must be noted that it's also notably thicker and somewhat heavier. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit better display than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels in each inch of display.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Moto G6 Plus, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Sony Xperia XZ2 features a better memory to install applications and games than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.

Moto G6 Plus has a battery performance that's very similar to Sony Xperia XZ2's battery duration, although the Moto G6 Plus also has a 1 percent greater battery capacity.
