The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a general score of 79.1, which is a little bit better than the Moto G7 Plus's 76.1 overall score. Even though Sony Xperia XZ2 is better than Moto G7 Plus, we must tell that it's also an older, heavier and extremely thicker cellphone. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a little better performance than Motorola Moto G7 Plus. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.

The Xperia XZ2 counts with a little sharper display than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display. The Sony Xperia XZ2 features just a bit better camera than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality, higher video frame rates and a back camera with a better 19 mega pixels resolution.

Moto G7 Plus counts with a slightly better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Moto G7 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xperia XZ2 features just a little bit longer battery life than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 3180mAh battery capacity.
