Xperia XZ2 is a little bit better than the Moto Z2 Force Edition, getting a 79.1 score against 77.4. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Xperia XZ2 design is noticeably thicker and a lot heavier than the Moto Z2 Force Edition. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a little bit better display than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit bigger display.
Xperia XZ2 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and a 4 GB RAM memory. Moto Z2 Force Edition features a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xperia XZ2 captures better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a F2 aperture, the Xperia XZ2 also has faster video frame rates, a lot bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Xperia XZ2 features superior battery performance than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 16 percent larger battery size.
