Comparison review
Galaxy A50 has a global score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2's 79.1 score. Galaxy A50 is a newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ2. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better display density.
The Xperia XZ2 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A50. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Sony Xperia XZ2 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and videos in low-light situations and a much lower 19 MP resolution camera, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution and a larger camera sensor shooting better quality pictures.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia XZ2, because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A50 features superior battery performance than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3180mAh.
