Xperia XZ2 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A7 (2017), with a 79.1 score against 75.8. The Xperia XZ2 design is newer than the Galaxy A7 (2017)'s, but it's incredibly thicker and a little bit heavier. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 features a much better looking display than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia XZ2 also has a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a quite better 1080 x 2160 resolution. Xperia XZ2 features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 400 GB and 32 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has just a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity. The Xperia XZ2 features a better camera than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a better resolution and a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
