Xperia XZ2 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy M20, getting a overall score of 79.1 against 78.9. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, it must be noted that it's also an older, way thicker and a little heavier phone. Xperia XZ2 has a bit better looking display than Galaxy M20, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a quite higher display density.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy M20. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM. Xperia XZ2 takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy M20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better video definition, a way better resolution back facing camera and a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Samsung Galaxy M20 has a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M20 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M20 features a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
