Samsung Galaxy M51 has an overall score of 87.7, which is better than the Sony Xperia XZ2's 79.1 overall score. Samsung Galaxy M51's design is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ2's, although it's a little bit heavier. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M51, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Xperia XZ2 has a bit better performance than Galaxy M51, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy M51 shoots much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M51 also counts with a way higher 64 megapixels resolution camera, a bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video and a way larger camera sensor which gives a lot better photo and video quality.
Samsung Galaxy M51 features a superior battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity instead of 3180mAh.
