Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than the Xperia XZ2, having a 79.3 score against 79.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 5's body is lighter and way thinner than Xperia XZ2, even though it was released many years before. Xperia XZ2 has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia XZ2 also has a larger number of faster cores.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a bit sharper screen than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a just a bit more pixels per display inch. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a larger sensor, higher video frame rates and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.

The Xperia XZ2 features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery capacity.
