Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2's overall score of 79.1. Even though Samsung Galaxy S7 is a lot older than the Sony Xperia XZ2, it's body is lighter and way thinner. The Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more screen brightness, a better screen pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a much greater memory for games and applications than Galaxy S7, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia XZ2 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S7, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ2 also has a higher number of cores (and also faster).
Xperia XZ2 features a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 3180mAh of battery capacity. Xperia XZ2 has a bit better camera than Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting images or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with higher video frame rate, a way higher 19 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
