Sony Xperia 5 III has an overall score of 90.5, which is much better than Sony Xperia XZ2's global score of 79.1. The Sony Xperia 5 III body is a lot newer, lighter and a lot thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia 5 III, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution, a bit lower pixels count in each screen inch and a quite smaller screen.
The Xperia 5 III features a little better performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 5 III also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Xperia 5 III counts with much more memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ2, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB and 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
Sony Xperia 5 III takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low light captures and videos and a lot bigger camera sensor taking way better quality videos and photographs.
Xperia 5 III counts with a much better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 42% more battery capacity.
