Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 has a score of 79.1, which is just a bit better than Xperia XA2 Plus's overall score of 78.6. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XA2 Plus were only released with a couple months difference, Sony Xperia XZ2's construction is thicker but also just a bit lighter. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Xperia XA2 Plus, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has a little sharper display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2160 resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with more display brightness and a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Xperia XZ2 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, although it has a back facing camera with less mega-pixels and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, they both have the same camera aperture and a same size camera sensor.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's storage for games and applications is very similar to the Sony Xperia XZ2 one, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit better battery performance than Xperia XZ2, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity.
