Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a general score of 79.1 against 77.5. The Sony Xperia XZ2 body is newer and just a bit lighter, but incredibly thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Xperia XZ2 counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2160 resolution and a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia XZ2 has a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ2, because although it has an external memory slot that admits 272 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory.
Xperia XZ2 features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also has a way larger sensor shooting much better quality videos and photographs, higher video frame rate, a bigger aperture and a back camera with lot more megapixels.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a superior battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 67% more battery size.
