Comparison review
The Xperia XZ3 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than Google Pixel 3a's 78.8 global score. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version while Google Pixel 3a has Android 11. Even though the Xperia XZ3 is a better cellphone than Google Pixel 3a, we must highlight that it's also a heavier and thicker cellphone.
Xperia XZ3 counts with a much better looking display than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a better 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution, a little better pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a little bit bigger display. Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 3a. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores.
Xperia XZ3 has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia XZ3 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot more MP back camera.
The Xperia XZ3 features just a bit longer battery duration than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 3330mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a, letting go some features and specs.
