Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has a score of 79.6, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 6a's 76.4 score. Even though Xperia XZ3 is a better cellphone than Google Pixel 6a, it must be noted that it is also a much older, just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 6a has Android 12 version, offering a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
Xperia XZ3 has a much powerful processor than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Sony Xperia XZ3 features a sharper screen than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a quite better pixel count per inch of display.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has lower video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also counts with a camera with a lot higher 19 megapixels resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bigger storage to install games and applications than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Google Pixel 6a has greater battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 32 percent more battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 6a. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 6a, giving up some specs and features.
