Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a bit better than the HTC U11, with a 79.6 score against 77.6. The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a newer phone than the HTC U11, although it's a lot thicker and somewhat heavier. The Xperia XZ3 counts with a little sharper screen than HTC U11, because it has a bit larger screen, a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a little better pixels density.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC U11. They have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount. Sony Xperia XZ3 has more storage capacity to install games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with just a bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality videos and photos and a way higher resolution camera in the back.
The Xperia XZ3 features a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC U11. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save some money and buy the HTC U11, letting go some specifications.
