Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 10's overall score of 78.9. The Xperia XZ3 construction is newer, but a bit heavier and thicker than Huawei Mate 10. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version.
Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cpu cores. Huawei Mate 10 counts with a display that is very similar to Sony Xperia XZ3's screen, because although the Huawei Mate 10 has a quite lower pixels quantity per inch in the display, a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 1440 x 2560px resolution, it also counts with a brighter screen.
Xperia XZ3 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a much larger sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality and a way better 19 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Xperia XZ3 features just a bit bigger storage to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei Mate 10 features better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some features and specifications.
