Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 has a global score of 84, which is a bit better than Xperia XZ3's overall score of 79.6. Huawei Mate 30's body is newer and thinner, but also a little heavier than the Xperia XZ3. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 30 has an older 10 version while Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Xperia XZ3 counts with a more vivid display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution. The Xperia XZ3 counts with a better memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 30 has a little better hardware performance than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 30 also has more RAM. Huawei Mate 30 counts with greater battery lifetime than Xperia XZ3, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 30 takes much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way higher image and video quality, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and video in low-light environments, better video frame rate and a lot more MP camera in the back.
