Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ3's overall score of 79.6. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Huawei P40 has older 10 version while Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P40 is a newer phone, and it's also just a little lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xperia XZ3.
The Huawei P40 has just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a better display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a greater pixel amount per inch of display.
The Huawei P40 captures better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back, a way bigger camera sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos, a bigger diafragm aperture and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P40 has a bit better battery duration than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 14% larger battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, Huawei P40 is also a lot cheaper.
