Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the LG G5's overall score of 76.1. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Xperia XZ3 body is much newer than LG G5's, but it is somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker.
Xperia XZ3 features a bit better processing power than LG G5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has more cores. Sony Xperia XZ3 features a little bit better looking screen than LG G5, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a quite larger display and a slightly higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a slightly better camera than LG G5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also counts with a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The LG G5 features a slightly better memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ3, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ3 has greater battery performance than LG G5, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG G5, letting go a couple features and specs.
