Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ3, getting a overall score of 82.5 against 79.6. The LG V30S ThinQ is a somewhat lighter and thinner device than the Xperia XZ3, although they were only released with a few months difference. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the LG V30S ThinQ has the older 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie.

Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Sony Xperia XZ3 features just a bit better display than LG V30S ThinQ. Both of them have a greater pixels quantity per inch in the display, a same size display and an equal resolution of 1440 x 2880.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. LG V30S ThinQ has a battery duration that's just as good as Xperia XZ3's battery life, although the LG V30S ThinQ has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Xperia XZ3 shoots clearer pictures and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a lot larger camera sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with a higher resolution.

LG V30S ThinQ costs a little more money than the Xperia XZ3, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
