Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has a global score of 79.6, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z3's 77.6 overall score. Although it's the best we are comparing here, we must tell that it's also a thicker and heavier cellphone. Both phones in this comparison include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system).
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a much better looking screen than Moto Z3, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a better pixel amount per inch of screen. Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Moto Z3. They have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a back camera with much more mega pixels and a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z3 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit superior battery life than Moto Z3, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto Z3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto Z3, giving up a couple features and specs.
