Xperia XZ3 has a score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Motorola One Action's 78.5 global score. Xperia XZ3 is an older, just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone than Motorola One Action. The Xperia XZ3 has a bit better CPU than Motorola One Action. Both have 4 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has a much better looking screen than Motorola One Action, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2880px resolution and a just a little more pixels per display inch. The Motorola One Action features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ3, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1000 GB.
Xperia XZ3 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola One Action, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
Motorola One Action counts with a little better battery duration than Xperia XZ3, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola One Action, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola One Action. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Motorola One Action, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
