Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8 Pro's overall score of 77.2. The Sony Xperia XZ3 body is a little bit lighter than the OnePlus 8 Pro, although it's thicker and was released about a year before. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a little more vivid display than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite larger screen, a slightly higher 1440 x 3168px resolution and a much brighter display.
Xperia XZ3 counts with more memory capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit better CPU than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 8 Pro takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a much larger camera sensor shooting lot better quality pictures, a bigger aperture for better captures in low-light situations, higher video frame rate and a way better resolution camera in the back.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs more money than the OnePlus 8 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 8 Pro. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
