Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A21, having a 79.6 score against 76.1. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A21 has Android 10 version, giving some extra features. The Xperia XZ3 design weights the same than Samsung Galaxy A21, but it's somewhat thicker.
Xperia XZ3 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A21, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia XZ3 also has more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch.
The Xperia XZ3 has a superior camera than Galaxy A21, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photography, it also counts with a higher 19 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a much higher (4K) video resolution and a lot larger back camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has 64 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A21 counts with improved battery lifetime than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 20% more battery size.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A21. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A21, resigning some features and specs.
