Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy J8's global score of 76.7. Despite being the best phone we compare here, the Xperia XZ3 is a somewhat thicker and a little heavier phone than the Galaxy J8. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Xperia XZ3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10, so it gives some extra features and increased performance.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a little better performance than Galaxy J8. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xperia XZ3 counts with a way better screen than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia XZ3 also has a way better resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a lot higher amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Xperia XZ3 has a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia XZ3 captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photos, a more mega-pixels back facing camera and a way better (4K) video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 has just a bit better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
