Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ3, having a score of 83 against 79.6. Samsung Galaxy Note8's body is thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ3, but it's a bit heavier and was released about 13 months before. These phones include the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so they should count with all the same operating system features.

Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels density. The Xperia XZ3 features a bit more storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ3 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Sony Xperia XZ3 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia XZ3 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for shooting images or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way more megapixels back camera.

The Galaxy Note8 has a battery performance that's just as good as Sony Xperia XZ3's battery duration, although the Galaxy Note8 has a 1 percent lower battery capacity.

The Galaxy Note8 not only is the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
