Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is slightly better than Xperia XZ3's 79.6 global score. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version and Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy S5 is an notably older phone than the Xperia XZ3, but Samsung was able to build it incredibly lighter and thinner anyway.

The Xperia XZ3 counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster) and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy S5 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.

The Xperia XZ3 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also has a better 19 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and a larger sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures.

Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia XZ3 counts with greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 19 percent bigger battery capacity.

Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, making it very easy to pick between these phones.
