The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 Active's score of 75.8. The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a a little bit heavier phone than Galaxy S7 Active, but both are equally thin. The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a larger number of faster cores.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a little more vivid display than Xperia XZ3, because although it has less bright display, a quite smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a just a little greater screen pixel density. Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a couple features and specifications.
